Remodelbuddy Privacy Policy

Information we process
Remodelbuddy processes account details, project addresses and plans, messages, uploaded files, estimates, measurements, payment and subscription status, contractor or professional profile information, and technical service logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, provide project collaboration, generate requested AI estimates or designs, process transactions, prevent abuse, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
Remodelbuddy uses service providers including Supabase for authentication, database and file storage; Stripe and applicable mobile stores for payments; OpenAI for requested AI features; and email-delivery providers for transactional messages. These providers process information under their own terms and applicable agreements.
Retention and deletion
Users can request deletion from Account Settings. Personal information is deleted or anonymized subject to records that must be retained for payments, fraud prevention, disputes, taxes, security, or other legal obligations.
Security and choices
Access controls, private storage, encryption in transit, and project membership permissions are used to protect information. Users can update their profile, manage project access, and request account deletion.
Contact and updates
Privacy inquiries can be submitted through Remodelbuddy Account Settings. This policy may be updated as the service and legal requirements change.
